Institution for a Global Society Inc. (IGS) has officially launched “Ai GROW India,” a localized version of its educational program “Ai GROW,” which enables schools to measure students’ non-cognitive skills and support teachers in applying the results to their teaching.

The launch follows the successful pilot (PoC) conducted in August 2025 under the METI Global South Future-Oriented Co-Creation Program, which involved two Indian schools, 666 students, and 20 teachers. The project confirmed the feasibility of data-driven non-cognitive skill assessment and teacher training in Indian classrooms.

Aligned with India’s National Education Policy (NEP 2020), IGS will expand the program through partnerships with local education foundations and state education departments. The company plans to gradually increase the number of participating schools through 2026.

Comment from Masahiro Fukuhara, Chairman & CEO:

“India, with its large young population and rapid education reforms, is a strategic market where educational impact and business growth can coexist.
Through Ai GROW India, we aim to provide data-driven insights that empower both teachers and students to foster essential 21st-century skills.”
